~~~Lullaby for a Story Night by Vienna Teng~~~ Little child, be not afraid The rain pounds harsh against the glass Like an unwanted stranger There is no danger I am here tonight
Little child Be not afraid Though thunder explodes And lightning flash Illuminates your tearstained face I am here tonight
And someday you'll know That nature is so This same rain that draws you near me Falls on rivers and land And forests and sand Makes the beautiful world that you see In the morning
Little child Be not afraid The storm clouds mask your beloved moon And its candlelight beams Still keep pleasant dreams I am here tonight
Little child Be not afraid The wind makes creatures of our trees And the branches to hands They're not real, understand And I am here tonight
And someday you'll know That nature is so This same rain that draws you near me Falls on rivers and land And forest and sand Makes the beautiful world that you see In the morning
For you know, once even I Was a little child And I was afraid But a gentle someone always came To dry all my tears Trade sweet sleep the fears And to give a kiss goodnight
Well, now I am grown And these years have shown Rain's a part of how life goes But it's dark and it's late So I'll hold you and wait 'til your frightened eyes do close
And I hope that you'll know That nature is so This same rain that draws you near me Falls on rivers and land And forests and sand Makes the beautiful world that you see In the morning
Everything's fine in the morning The rain will be gone in the morning But I'll still be here in the morning ~~~ [link] ~~~
;u; finally a mother daughter picture~~ drawn during my join.me~ :D which is still going btw
and its lineless omfg i missed doing that so much xDDD
My word on this artwork is that it tells about a mother's love towards her daughter. I know it's a bit emotional, and I'm very heartfelt when I saw this. About these expressions, I've seen those teary eyes are much more in contrast with the stormy weather that was on a window. Yep, and all that impression, all good. Very soft tones are much favorable as your style is strikingly in contrast. Although it's based on a song, I think the theme is perfect, I could agree. Both the originality and technique in this artwork are very okay, so for that, four and a half for the originality and five for the technique. The rest, five stars.
This picture is amazingly emotional, moving, and heart-warming. I love the techniques you've chosen here, Kiki, the bright eyes and tears in the darkness of a stormy night bring out the emotion and the warmth of the moment perfectly. In addition to that, the overall impression the picture makes and the lasting impact is strengthened by the softness of the tones and the overall beauty of the style which is very consistent in your pictures and which makes me watch every picture you publish with great interest and appreciation. Even if the picture theme is not super original, its execution is original indeed, original to your style and interpretation - so, originality of the theme is 4/5 and originality of your interpretation of the theme is 5/5 because you masterfully used your style to portray the chosen scene. Everything else is a straight 5/5 in my opinion due to the fact that you've portrayed the moment perfectly, using awesome digital drawing techniques that make a strong impact on the watchers such as yours truly. Thank you for your talent, Kiki, keep up the great job!
Good luck, Serina, and keep up the good work.
