Checking out your gallery and I must say I am very very impressed. I am not the only one that is as we all can see. My sister is also a big fan of your work. Your comic strip world of creatures has really inspired her. She loves your artwork alot and never lets me forget lol. My real question is this: would you be flattered or offended etc etc if she where to use this style of drawing. She really does admire your style of work with no stretch of the imagination and Id say that if you had a biggest fan she would have to be it. I guess the only reason im the one asking this is because that she might be afraid that the person that she admires alot for your talent and creativity would be mad at her for asking so big sis(by 8 minutes lol) stepped in to ask for her. Again beautiful gallery and keep up the amazing art work. Have a very nice day and happy valentines day!

im glad to hear that i have such a big fan c:
she can totally use the style for a bit, but try not to make it permanent, she should try to build off of it to make her own style or enhance it ^^

That is what I told her but she felt bad if she didnt ask for your permission first. She asks if she can have some tips from the best of the best and if you had any to build her own personal style:)

the best way to build a style is to reference off of styles you already like. like say, you like their linearting style, try to replicate it, if you like their coloring style, try to replicate it. last time i did that i did it for body proportions, so i tried to draw from a few stock photos so that i can start with actuall proportions and such, and then i moved onto finding out how some of my favorite artists use proportions, and so on.
this doesn't mean you should straight up and copy it though, add a few tweeks here and there that you personally like and mash up what it is you like from various styles until you get a style you're satisfied with. and then practice your new found style until it feels perfect to you c: the new style might be a bit hard to get right at first, but if you practice it enough it'll come as naturally to you as your old style did before

that's what i have to say on it, different artist might have different ideas on the matter but this is what i do when i feel i need to revamp my style. i hope this helped ^^
